Twenty-one people came out on this beautiful September day to enjoy orienteering at the Cricket Holler Boy Scout Camp. Benjamin Bond set a new MVOC record (possibly world record) for being the youngest participant ever. Only 6 weeks old but he didn't act like it was any big deal! Otherwise; Shawn Wilcox, Sam Cherry and dad Allen Cherry of Troop 49 smoked the white course in 21 minutes and then did an encore performance on the yellow course (49 minutes). Troop 71's team# 1 were the only ones to brave (and conquer) the orange course and Matt Bond again prevailed on the green course. Note the battle for second place on green as Steve Barnhart edged out Kurt Schwab by just 34 seconds!

I want to thank Mark Novitski, Matt Bond and Steve Barnhart for helping with registration, training and marker pick-up.
