Competitive Course/Class Structure

for United States Orienteering Federation (USOF) A-Meets

 

USOF sanctioned A-meets are entered by Class, based on age and sex, as shown in the table.

Table Key:
   F = Female, M = Male, Grp = Groups.

   Ages:
   The number is your age on Dec 31 the year of the event.
   A preceding dash means an age up to the listed age (e.g. M-14 is for boys 14 and under).
   A following plus sign means that age and older (e.g. F35+ is for women 35 and older).
   Open classes have no age limit.
   The elite -21+ classes have no age limit.

   The top elite M-21+ class is open to males and females.

   Classes listed in bold type are offered at all A-meets.
   Classes not in bold type are not offered at A-meets using a condensed class structure.
