MVOC is a participant in Five Rivers MetroParks Passport to Nature program. MVOC will stamp the passport of any participant at any Five Rivers MetroPark - Englewood, Eastwood, Germantown, Taylorsville, or Possum Creek. Meet directors will provide blank passports to start new participants. Completed passports earn the participants recognition.

Junior Orienteering Championships Once a year MVOC hosts a Junior Orienteering Championships. The event is usually held in the Spring. In the Fall, we hold a practice event. Eligible groups are of Junior High School and High School age. Cost is $4 per map and punchcard set (add $2 for electronic scoring).

Training is available before all club events and at your location by request. Call Matt Bond @ (937) 848-3106. Training at your location may involve additional fees.

Permanent Orienteering Courses are available at Cricket Holler BSA camp, Woodland Trails BSA camp, Whip Poor Will GS camp, and Learning Tree Farm (SW Dayton). Permanent orienteering course maps and other maps can be obtained from Fred Dudding, (937) 294-2228.
